Dear Members and Friends,
Welcome to the NHLSA Annual Meeting! The Program Committee has been hard at work planning some new experiences for this year’s conference. It is our sincere hope that our new venue, the Waterville Valley Conference Center, provides a destination experience that brings your entire crew together to join us for both days.
The conference schedule includes ample time for networking and socializing with our fellow surveyor friends and visiting with the vendors who support our profession on a daily basis. And Thursday night features multiple entertainment options till as late as 11:00pm!
The Conference Center features ample parking, and several lodging options, including condo-style suites, exist within walking distance.
Other new highlights:
- Simplified CEU tracking: Sign in once at the beginning of the day and sign out at the end for 2.0 CEU’s per day no matter which classes you attend.
- With the simplified CEU’s, we are replacing the vendor stamps with a business card raffle. Each exhibitor you visit and leave a business card with earns a chance to win a raffle prize. Make sure to bring some business cards!
- We are trying out a true Awards Banquet. Presentation of most of our awards will now take place during the evening meal. This will shorten the business meeting and shift dinner earlier, allowing for a break before the late-night entertainment starts.
- On Friday afternoon, instead of having multiple breakout sessions we will all come together in one room to close out the conference with a presentation by Paul Alfano.
